2009–2010 Ad Hoc Mentor Committee
Composition: The members of the Ad Hoc Mentor Committee are appointed by the President. One member, as selected by the President, will serve as Chair. The number of Committee members is up to the discretion of the President.
Responsibilities: The Ad Hoc Mentor Committee shall solicit submissions of abstracts for presentation of original research work performed by medical students, residents, or fellows with a spine-related focus. The Ad Hoc Mentor Committee shall judge the submitted Mentor Program abstracts, and direct financial awards to the best paper presenter(s) as selected by the Committee at the ASSR 2010 Annual Symposium. The presenter of the paper judged to be the best Mentor paper shall be invited to present his/her paper at the ASNR 48th Annual Meeting in 2010. The Ad Hoc Mentor Committee shall be responsible for developing solicitation materials and for arranging for appropriate circulation to ASSR and ASNR members. The Ad Hoc Mentor Committee shall collaborate closely with the ASSR Program and Research Committees to promote spine research within the Society.

American College of Radiology Councilors

The Alternate Councilor shall be appointed by the President to serve a one-year term with no limitations on term renewal. The Alternate Councilor shall act only in the absence of the Councilor.
