Spontaneous subdural hematoma in the spinal canal is a relatively rare entity compared to the intracranial process. In many instances, the etiology remains elusive, however, some underlying processes have been associated with this syndrome. This includes spinal-dural arterio-venous fistulas, carcinomatosis with vascular/hemorrhagic primary, traumatic lumbar puncture and intrinsic coagulopathy. In this patient, intrinsic coagulopathy and carcinomatosis are both present.General Anatomic Area:
